Capturing Presence
What if the images didn’t capture our vision?

What if the images didn't capture our vision? What if they couldn't translate the Weight of Presence we'd poured ourselves into?
With the launch just around the corner, our first photoshoot felt like a rite of passage—and if I'm honest, I was terrified. All the decisions, all the sourcing and sampling and second-guessing had led to this moment. Would our sweaters photograph the way they felt to wear?
Then the model slipped into Midnight, and all those nerves quieted.
Watching her move in it, shoulders relaxed, arms floating skyward, was surreal. Through the lens, we saw more than a garment. We saw grace that didn't need to announce itself. We saw presence. That one candid shot where arms were lifted, and the sweater was in motion. It became the embodiment of everything Midnight stood for: calm, expressive, grounded, quietly bold.
Each color revealed its true character. Noir held a certain power: steady, deliberate, unfussy. Stone softened the light and the mood, grounding the set with a quiet glow. And hearing the model describe how each color made her feel was one of those affirming moments where our internal compass pointed true. The emotions we hoped these colors would evoke landed.
There was a moment on set where I looked around at the crew, the lights, the monitor, the model in our sweater, and it hit me: this is real. All those late nights questioning every detail had brought us here. To this snapshot in time, where the brand we imagined was now being seen, touched, and worn by someone who wasn't us.
I hope when you see these photos, you don't just see product shots. I hope you feel the ease in them. The care. The steadiness of the people behind the lens and the presence of the one in front of it. Because that's what we discovered that day. Our sweaters don't just photograph beautifully, they transform how someone carries themselves the moment they put one on.
That's what Lynx + Loom was always meant to be: a brand that feels as real and lived-in as the stories we carry.
These moments are almost here. Be among the first to experience The Sable Collection.
With warmth,
